Zach Berman of the Newark Star-Ledger reports Giants running back Charles Scott was involved in a car accident in Louisiana earlier this week, according to his agent, Jon Perzley. “He’s doing well. He’s definitely got some cuts and bruises. He’ll be okay, put it that way,” Perzley said by phone. “He’s going to be fine. And anytime there’s a car accident, you’re just so glad he’s alive. He’s like a brother to me. He’s okay.”
Perzley emphasized that Scott’s injuries were not career threatening and he’ll absolutely be able to play football again. Last night, Scott posted a similarly positive message on his Twitter account. “I just want to thank all my friends, fans & family for the many needed prayers and support,” Scott wrote on his Twitter account. “I’m doing well and will be home soon. Love y’all.”
