MetLife Stadium?

The New Meadowlands could be close to getting a sponsor for its naming rights. If all goes according to plan, we’ll be looking at MetLife Stadium.

According to the Star-Ledger, MetLife has put in a bid somewhere between $17-18 million dollars per year to buy the naming rights, and while not done yet, it is expected to be soon.

Interesting note in that article. Before the recession, the naming rights were expected to be $30 million per year. Yowzers.

I’m okay with MetLife Stadium, mostly because it seems like Snoopy would be all over. And I’m okay with that.

It may sound weird but I couldn’t care less about what the stadium’s called.
It’ll always be PSL Stadium to me.
