Plax To Visit With Giants, Coughlin On Wednesday

As The Plax Turns: Burress is set to visit with the Giants and Coach Coughlin on Wednesday, according to Mike Garafolo. Coughlin and Burress never saw completely eye to eye. This meeting seems like a clearing of the air. If all goes well, perhaps a return will be discussed:

“I really don’t know what I’m going to say,” Burress said. “I’m just going to go in there tomorrow and speak from the heart, be truthful with him and let him know how I feel. Whatever comes out is going to come out.

“I’m pretty sure there are things he wants to say, too.”

I’m not sure,” he said when asked if the Giants are the favorite to land him right now. “I do love New York. My fan base here has been great to me. But it’s not just about football; there are just a lot of things that go into it.

“But after this I’ll know a lot more. Without a doubt, without question.”

This meeting, I’m sure, holds a lot of weight in the mind of Plaxico Burress. Depending on the outcome of the meeting, Plax could be back in Blue, or looking elsewhere. Burress, although removed from football for two years, would help a receiving  corp that might not have Steve Smith, who is a free agent.

I’m chocked by those reports. Plax back ? Where did TC go ?

I don’t wnat him unless he agrees to a league minimum salary.

What does is say about Smith’s condition though ? Nothing good I guess.
