Giants Announce Undrafted Free Agents

The Giants today announced which undrafted free agents they signed. The list:

Boston College LB Mark Herzlich, Florida DE Justin Trattou, South Florida DE Craig Marshall, Richmond DT Martin Parker, Arkansas Pine-Bluff DT Ibrahim Abdulai, Georgia Tech S Jerrard Tarrant, Iowa State S David Sims, Oregon LB Spencer Paysinger, South Carolina T Jarriel King and Pittsburgh FB Henry Hynoski.

The most interesting one is, obviously, Mark Herzlich. Others who could make the team: Henry Hynoski, Martin Parker, Jerrard Tarrant. Practice squad candidates include: Jarriel King, Justin Trattou and David Sims.

    Some good players in there, I like it.
    Herzlich obviously, Hynoski as well.
    Parker, Sims and King could be something as well.

    Let’s not forget though that any of those guys making the 53 roster is pure bonus.

    Martin Parker is a player! He was my 2nd fave prospect in the whole thing, behind Ian Williams… I’d be surprised if Martin Parker dosen’t make the team or at least practice squad… Also, i’m excited about Herzlich, Hynoski, and Tarrant….

    I think the roster is going to get younger, faster and hungrier. A lot of the guys we’ve had have gone stale and stopped playing on special teams, so maybe carrying a couple less lineman might allow us to get better there, which IMO changes the face of this team. This said, there is some kind of chance for one or two of these guys to make the roster, unfortunately the TE situation is still hurting.
