Giants Release Madison Hedgecock

In an expected move, the Giants released fullback Madison Hedgecock. On the team since 2007, Hedgecock battled injuries this past year, and was arguably out played by Bear Pascoe.

The Giants have options at fullback. They can keep Pascoe there. They can try rookie Henry Hynoski. Or bring in a free agent like Vonta Leach.

    No big surprise there.

I don’t think believing/hoping Hynoski can be our strating FB in september is that big of a stretch.
I would believe it is not that difficult to go pro at this position. Is it ?

Best move of the offseason so far….with how much we use the FB position, not really relevant and it can only get better if we use Bear. Might as well save the cap space and just use what we already have…
