Osi To Get Second Opinion On Knee; Practice Soon?

Osi Umenyiora is going to Atlanta to visit a knee specialist, according to reports. If he gets the a-ok, or if this new doc can come up with a way to keep the knee healthy while practicing, Osi could end his contract stalemate and join his teammates on the practice field. This has to do with an endgame that agent Tony Agnone is talking about:

Ultimately he wants to play, right?’

We’ll see what the doc says. Is this what’s holding Osi back from practicing? Or is it more along the lines of Osi using this to say to the Giants that his knee is really hurt? I don’t know. If his knee comes back fine, is he going to practice? That will be the biggest test.

This Osi thing is rather strange, as he tries to renegotiate
a new deal he wants his knee checked out before practicing? It’s
very obvious Agnone is working something… unless he really is hurt.
Most of us would die for 3.5 Mil Year and manage to live within our means.
They on the other hand have lifestyles that need constant upgrading…
    that takes cash!
