Giants Sign Brian Williams

The Giants have signed a cornerback, and it is Brian Williams. Williams, last of the Falcons, beat out fellow veterans Dre Bly and Lito Sheppard for a spot on the Giants. Williams, a nine year veteran, has started 99 games. He brings plenty of experience to a relatively young secondary, and a depleted secondary. Last season, as a backup for Atlanta,  the 5-11, 32 year old Williams had 36 tackles.

Are we sure he beat out the other 3 candidates that they brought in, or was he the cheapest for Reese to sign?
