Nicks Injures Knee, Although Not Serious; Tuck 50-50 For Monday Night

More from the injury ward: Hakeem Nicks is suffering from a knee injury. No word on what it is, although a source told Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger that it was a “bone bruise” at worst. If that’s the case, nothing too serious, although worth monitoring.

Justin Tuck, who missed Sunday’s game, told WFAN today that he’s 50-50 for playing against the Rams:

“I would say I’m 50-50 right now,” he said. “Just because it hasn’t gotten any better since yesterday.”

“It had been progressing, and it kind of just got stagnant,” he said. “As of right now, it just isn’t getting any better.”

Not what you want to hear, but it sounds like something that we’ll end up knowing more about as the week goes on.

Tuck’s words and situation seems to be mirroring what just happened in Indy with Peyton Manning, we CANNOT afford that!!

Not at all! We got the injury bug this year :(.. I love the giants though cuz the whole organization is like me. Great, potential to do great things, classy, talented ;), but doesn’t use full talent all the time and they have bad luck just like me.. Starting with plax shooting himself, to the eagles game last year, to all the f****** injuries this year. Its bad luck. No other way to explain it.

It’s funny because I use that analogy at times too, I think that’s why I relate with the Giants more than any other sports franchise I root for. We bleed blue!!
