Source: Giants DE Umenyiora has a “50-50” chance of playing at Cardinals

Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora has a “50-50” chance of playing Sunday in Arizona according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News who cites a source.

It likely will depend on the amount of swelling in his knee this week.

Any idea when Prince A. will be in the mix?

:Sigh: This sucks. I get it… the medical concern is there, but I would just love to see this D line get to full strength, especially as this team is just on the brink of finding a rhythm.

But… I have to say, after the bullsh*t in the offseason, doesn’t this just sound a BIT too convenient? Almost like he’s sticking it to the team, by not playing?

I know there’s probably close to zero chance that is happening, but you have to admit, this is pretty convenient on behalf of the Osi camp. The team that wont pay him what he feels he should get paid, is now is forced to pay him, without him playing. Just an interesting turn of events.

Let’s thank God we have JPP. He’s holding it down incredibly well, and is still healthy (thank God again). Should this Osi drama continue, I think a trade for first round draft pick would look pretty, pretty, prettty nice next yet. Of course, that’s assuming they can get it.
