The Giants have signed free agent cornerback Justin Tryon, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Tryon adds depth to a Giants secondary that lost Terrell Thomas to a torn ACL and has been without 2011 first-round pick Prince Amukamara, who broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot during training camp.

The Giants have not announced the Tryon signing, which will require an accompanying transaction.

A 2008 fourth-round pick out of Arizona State by the Redskins, Tryon started two of 29 games for the Redskins over the 2008 and 2009 seasons, totaling 31 tackles, a quarterback sack and an interception. Traded to the Colts before the 2010 season, Tryon started six of 12 games, making 44 tackles and had seven passes defensed. Tryon had seven tackles over three games this season before he was abruptly waived last week.

Haven’t seen much of Brian Williams, I guess he’s the one that gets the boot here, either that or trying to move Coe to the practice squad?
This kind of worries me about the Prince though, should we be concerned?

Idk maybe theyre just gonna release b williams… Well have Webster, ross, smith, amukamara, and idk bout Michael Coe. Next year us what I’m thinking about though.. Who will they re sign?? There’s Ross n Thomas who are FA’s.. Smith is actually really good but got cut cuz he argued or didn’t believe in the def coordinator cuz they didn’t start him or something. What about goff next year? He’s solid but not special. If they re sign him, what happens to greg jones?? J Williams, when will he play full time? I don’t really like kiwi at lb cuz he’s not that fast but behind osi is smart for stopping the run.. Idk this is a good thing abd bad thing at the same time. Early prediction- prbly wayyyyyyy off but 1st round- guard or right tackle or tight end.
