Team works out 12 players; including ex-Giant return specialist Will Blackmon

The Giants worked out a dozen players on Monday according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.

Here are a list of players who worked out for the Giants:

Cornerback/return specialist Will Blackmon – former Giant appeared in five games last season before suffering a knee injury. He averaged 6.7 yards on 14 punt returns and 18.3 yards on 13 kick returns.

Defensive end Everette Brown – second-round pick of the Panthers in 2009, Brown had six sacks in two seasons. He was waived last month.

Running back Kevin Smith – Lions’ second-round pick in 2008.

Wide receiver/kick returner Isaiah Stanback – ex-Cowboy/Patriot has a career kick-return average of 22.7 yards.

Wide receivers Charles Sullivan, Skyy Simmons, Montez Billings and Kris Adams.

Offensive guards Mansfield Wrotto, who started seven games for the Bills last year, and Duke Robinson, a fifth-round pick of the Panthers.

Linebacker David Nixon, center Reggie Stephens, and running back Alex Daniels.

    everette brown can be another pass rushing monster. hope they sign him or at least add him to the practice squad.
