Giants DE Pierre-Paul fined $10K

Giants sack artist Jason Pierre-Paul was hit with a $10,000 fine for his roughing the passer penalty in the second quarter of the Giants’ 27-24 victory over the Bills last Sunday, the league confirmed to ESPN

Pierre-Paul’s hand made contact with Ryan Fitzpatrick’s head after the Buffalo quarterback completed a nine-yard pass to Fred Jackson.

      I agree. Every time you hit someone it’s a fine. From now on I’m going to celebrate a massive hit with the shoulder pads that knocks someone out of a game. Lead with with pads on the kickoffs and produce one of those “rag doll” hits boys!

    I just don’t see how a player gets fined when there is no intent to hurt. If that happened to Eli, I wouldnt even be upset. Nothing wrong protecting players, and I understand the need for fines. However, is this really the “spirit” of the rule?
