Giants Getting Healthier: Nicks, Manningham, Umneyiora, Bradshaw All Participate Friday

Giants wide receivers Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) and Mario Manningham (knee) were both on the practice field Friday morning, participating in light team drills, according to Christian Red of the New York Daily News.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora (ankle sprain) and running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) were also on the field Friday morning. Umenyiora was doing light agility drills with other Giants defensive players.

    Still no Ballard? Oh well, guess it’s good to see our WR corps will be intact, the Cowboys secondary isn’t quite what the Jets is (although they are aided by VERY lenient officiating as Revis holds or hooks the opposing receiver on EVERY play). Even with all the drops lately, Nicks is our best WR at adjusting to hot reads on the blitz, and as I expect a whole lot of blitzing from the Cowgirls, I believe he will play a huge role this week.

    Ballard has been ruled out for Sunday by the team.
