Andre Brown Suspended 4 Games

Andre Brown has been suspended 4 games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. It is unknown what substance he used.  Brown was on the practice squad last season, but with Jacobs now in San Fran, Brown could have gotten more carries. Now there is even more impetus for the Giants to get another running back, whether in the draft or free agency.

I agree I think this changes things a bit. I would not be surprised if the Giants cut him. I don’t think it changes anything on the top in first few rounds but later in the draft it will.

I wonder if it was a performance enhancing drug or a recreational one. He knows better, I don’t understand why a young man can throw away a career like that. He had a good chance of taking Jacob’s roster spot and beating out Ware. Unless he felt he wasn’t good enough and needed some help building his body. Or he may have taken something not OKed by the NFL, but they are all told do not take supplements not OKed by the NFL, the union and the NFL stresses it. Any way you look at it, the would stupid comes to mind.
