Osi listen up……..

Osi listen up my man, are you going to start this crap again? I want this and I want that and I want to start, enough dude, don’t you enjoy success? Jerry Reese see’s your importance to the team in the BIG picture, you see it in a small picture. You see it as what about me and my ego that needs to be fed as well as my bank account. We all understand those feelings.

The reality is that without doubt you are a top pass rusher, but you are a below average DE against the run. This is a proven fact throughout your career. You also have a bit of a chronic hip issue, you cannot deny that. You have two super bowl rings playing for the Giants, you have made millions of dollars, what more can you ask for? You already made your mark in the NFL and in the Giants record books.

So listen up…….

The reality is for you to wise up, there is nothing wrong with being a part time player on a great team. As a part time player and pass rush specialist you still have a very high value, any pass rusher does in the NFL. But considering your hip and your age it’s much wiser to prolong your career. You will make more money in the long run and have a much better legacy as a Giant which is important when you retire. Retire as a Giant hero and the city is yours including all around the New York area, there are many Giants fans all over the world, you’re a hero like Strahan, Banks, Simms, Carson and so on, the stage can be yours.

Play this silly immature game of I want to be a starter and I want more money and you will get your wish. On a losing team, with a shortened career and a lack of that legacy Giants players feed off of after they retire, except for Tiki Barber who destroyed it like you are doing. Stay with your family, take a few bucks less and play another 6-8 years at a high level, like 6-8 sacks a year. No need to take the wear and tear of the run game and just keep on adding super bowl rings, that’s the way to live.

Most all players that leave the Giants never get that feeling back, this place is special, there are a few teams in sports that are like that, the Lakers, at one time the Knicks, the Yankees, the Celtic. The Giants are one of those teams and when you leave you very rarely come back. You leave a piece of yourself here that you will never regain, by the way good luck Toll, sorry to see you go.

Man up, keep your mouth shut, take your MILLIONS of dollar to play a game and retire a New York Football Giants hero. Become part of the legacy and heritage of one of the best and oldest football teams in the NFL. Play this game and you will lose, people will go “who” when the name Osi is mentioned, that won’t happen if you become a Giant legend, you’re half way there Osi, go ALL THE WAY.

Don’t be a jerk…….

Nice. You actually should try and send ur out. Maybe to all the giants on twitter u send them the link.. In reality tho, he’s not a backup, it’s a 3 headed monster that the giants have and that’s amazing. It keeps them fresh and it’s great. Why would he complain for that? I don’t get it… They will all share snaps and that’s how it should b cuz all 3 are starting caliber superstars. Out of those 3, so far, Osi is the biggest game changer With his forced fumbles etc. He makes plays for us. JPP and Tuck are also amazing so together and healthy they should be unstoppable. Why would he be unhappy???? C’mon Osi u guys all have ur strengths n weaknesses and u guys will work together to make another run. Most important position on the D-line and we have 3 superstars. Let’s go!

And I didn’t mean that JPP and tuck don’t make plays for us it’s just that Osi forcing fumbles is his specialty. He’s better at getting to the passer than tuck n even tho JPP is catching up, u can’t argue with what Osi did when he wasn’t injured. Tuck is an animal in all phases pass and run stopping, Osi is a beast in pass rushing but weak in run stopping and JPP, well the sky’s the limit. He’s gonna be the cracken of pass rush and run stopping lol

  4. Michael S says:

Lol wow I didn’t kno I sent it twice..

    My bad

  5. CHeeKZ Money says:

I completely disagree. osi needs to cash in while his stock is high and get as much guarantee money as possible.

    • Jason C. says:

Thankfully, Carolina made the worst signing in history, and it’s woken up even the most desperate franchises. When they gave Charles Johnson all that guaranteed money, they regretted it almost instantaneously, and no team will take that risk again (well maybe Buffalo with Mario Williams, but he’s younger than Osi and has had an injury, while Osi has a history of injuries). Osi can make a healthy contract, but proving for one year that he can play without seeing substantial time on the bench due to injury, will actually get him paid a lot more. His best bet is to honor the final year of his contract and stay on the field.

      • Big Daddy says:

Buffalo will regret that contract too. Williams is very good not great and not the type of player Strahan was in terms of off and on the field leadership and performance.

The only defensive player that would ever deserve a contract like that would be LT. To me he was the best defensive player because he had to be schemed to stop by the offense. Mario Williams is not that kind of player, if he was the Texans would not have let him go.

Osi is damaged goods, as he ages those injuries won’t get better they are just manageable. Talk to a trainer and they will explain that. Injuries never really heal they become manageable depending on what they are and how bad they are. Professional athletes take long hours to prepare for games because of past injuries. In his last year “The Bus” Jerome Bettis played he said he could not walk all week, but Sunday he ran.

  6. David says:

These run on sentences are hurting my brain. But there are a few good points in there. The best one being if he shuts up and plays they loyalty card, he can be Carl banks in 15 years. He is good looking, well spoken and gregarious. But it’s stating to get old. Both boss, s smith, Jacobs and manningham have all found out that the grass is not greener on the other side. Osi should have someone in his ear telling him the same.

    • Big Daddy says:

Are you sure it’s not that spike sticking out of your head? LOL.

      • David says:

        No. It’s your shitty grammar.

        • Big Daddy says:

This is about football first and foremost, we are NOT professionals and don’t pretend to be. If you are a professional good luck to you, I am the one who writes for this blog. It’s simple, if you don’t like it, don’t read it.

I’ll repeat it’s about football, Giants football, that’s what I do. Although my grammar may not be perfect it’s good enough to get my point across which is all that counts.

If you want proper grammar read Charles Dickens.

If you want Giants football come to Giants Gab and read Big Daddy.
