Sorry for the day late delay. Unfortunately, Comcast wasn’t to friendly with fixing my lack on internet connection when they said they would. But, I digress. This week – and next week – are special to me. Why, you ask? Because I get to do T and M. You Gabbers know how much I love to muse with you when Jeremy is taking some well deserved time off. He does a great job, doesn’t he! Anyway, let’s muse.

- The Giants news has been almost non-existent in the news since the Diehl incident. That should – and we hope – stay the same since the Giants just closed up mini camp. Barring any news-worth incidents like the Diehl DWI, the Giants should remain that way. Just the way Giants head coach Tom Coughlin likes it. Next Stop: Training camp. Albany get ready, here come the defending world champions.

- The only news was that the Giants re-signed DT Rocky Bernard, whom they had an offer out to for a long time, the team said. Bernard will provide more of a depth role then seeing more time on the field like he did last season. With the hopeful emergence of DT Marvin Austin, time will be cut short between him and DT Shaun Rogers. Don’t forget DT Dwayne Hendricks, too, who hopes he can stick on the roster this year.

- I really enjoyed the post we did here over at the gab on DT Linval Jospeh. Many on the Giants staff were quick to point out the huge improvement Jospeh made from year one to two, as the article mentions. Jospeh had a hell of a season, and played a large chunk of it hurt, too. Look for Linval to step into a bigger role this season. He should be primed for an even bigger season then last year. I don’t hear the critics of letting go DT Barry Cofield anymore.

- One thing that Giants fans might have to worry about next season: DC Perry Fewell landing a head coaching gig. He’s been very close to landing one the past two seasons. If the Giants defense can post another solid season, look for Fewell’s name to much more then just fulfilling The Rooney Rule.

- I just want to touch on what Jeremy said on Prince Amukamara real quick. I think the Giants, if they can stay healthy, might have some serious depth in the secondary. Assuming CB Terrell Thomas can stay on the field, and Prince plays the way the Giants think he can, you’ll have three top-flight corners. Could be a big deal.

-  Interesting question I was asked. What are your thoughts on Sulia, the Twitter enabler that allows you to add more length to a Tweet. I don’t mind it. What are your thoughts?

- Movie Interlude – I can’t wait to see the movie, Ted. It looks hysterical. Seth MaFarlane paired with Mark Wahlberg looks to be a killer combo. Any movies this summer you Gabbers looking to see? If so, post it in the comments section!

- Beer Interlude – I’ve gotten into Land Shark lately. Not sure why, but it’s a summer beer I love. What is your favorite summer beer?
