Posted in This will be my final T and M for a while. Fuchs will be back from his vacation and I’m just holding the fort down. Anyway, let’s muse.
- Interesting to see WR Percy Harvin requesting a trade from the Vikings. Obviously, Harvin is instrumental to them and the development of QB Christian Ponder. Harvin isn’t going anywhere. He’s young, talented and explosive. He’s not going anywhere.
- I’ve gotten some Tweets asking if the Giants would try and trade for Harvin. The short answer: No. That won’t happen. A) The Vikings won’t trade him. And B) He’d be a high price.
- Loved the story former Saints LB and now Browns LB Scott Fujita told ESPN: “I shook Roger Goodell’s hand, looked him straight in the eye and said, Roger, what the hell are you doing. He (Godell) looked down, turned red and walked away.” Riveting.
- I’m sick of The Bounty Scandal, but it isn’t going away. It will be in the news for a long, long time.
- On to the Giants – Big Daddy should be coming out with a evaluation of the current Giants roster. Looking forward to it.
- Movie Interlude: Did anyway see any good movies lately? Down with a summer like flu, wondering if anyone has any recommendations.
- Book Interlude: Do any of you gabbers have any books you can recommend? Wan’t to read something good! Let me know in the comments section below.

Two points for me:
I wouldn’t want to trade for Harvin, we have enough oft injured WR on our roster as it is, adding another will literally be overkill. I mean who wants to be sitting around waiting 2 weeks for the Super Bowl and wondering whether Harvin’s migraines will kick in at game time or not?
I understand why some people are tired of hearing about the bounty scandal, but I for one think there hasn’t been enough coverage. What they did was absolutely despicable and the 2nd round pick and suspensions are hardly the punishment as much as the constant embarrassment this story brings upon that organization. Personally I would go a step further and strip the Super Bowl from them and put it in Atlanta or St. Louis. Also, the fact that the NFLPA is representing players who received illegal financial gains to injure, as much as trying to end careers and administer concussions upon, other members of the union is an absolute joke.

I’ve just started America’s Game by Michael MacCambridge. You’ve most likey read it already though.
What is up with Beatty and the rest of the offensive line? They are sounding extremely confident–maybe too confident. Beatty really shouldn’t be talking crap about DeMarcus Ware. That could backfire.
