    Ugh, I hate it, another football Sunday without my Giants, seems like such a waste…

      It could be worse, they could be playing every Sunday because they had a 4-12 record.

      I remember those days in the 1970s and early 1980s. Even some form the 1960s especially the late 60s. There where some really bad teams and really poor records.

      I can remember the hope of a 6-0 preseason and the team going 2-12. The great players surrounded by sub-par ones.

      I can remember losing to a Bears team that had a QB that could not throw the ball. He could only run and they still beat the Giants because they refused to play him as a running QB. He was a big tall guy that had NO arm. I clearly remember that one play he just ran down the middle of the line, there was nobody there and nobody tackled him. I think he scored a TD. His name was Bobby Douglas.
