Tom Coughlin Not Sure How the Cowboys Got Off 3 Plays in 10 Seconds

Tom Coughlin has been coaching a long time but has never seen a team get off 3 plays in 10 seconds as the Cowboys did late in the game on Sunday, Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Asked if he thought the Cowboys were given a hometown edge by the clock operator, Coughlin said, “I’m not saying that. I’m just saying that’s a heck of a long time. 10 seconds, three plays. The ball started at the 40-yard line.”

The three plays were as follows: A Tony Romo pass short left to Jason Witten who was pushed out of bounds at the Giants 27 for 10 yards. Then a Tony Romo pass incomplete deep down the middle to Miles Austin. And finally, Tony Romo pass incomplete deep middle to Jason Witten.

I dont think this is the right place to post this, but where is Big Daddy? His last post was October 11. His game breakdowns are incredible. Hope he is OK!!!! Please give us an update. I know he also has a lot of fans who may not sign in and post comments.

curious why there has been such a lack of this too??? Was much more coverage last year

The zebras, the timekeeper, the guy that controls the windows with the sun in Eli’s eyes. The league should be ashamed of themselves for the mockery of the sport they allowed to happen in Dallas. Thankfully it was clear Dez had his hand out of bounds or that would have been a “not enough conclusive evidence” call… That said, I thought we were going to put our foot on the gas this year? Though it is a little hard when the Cowboys secondary can grab our guys all day without getting the flag.

Lets not forget the giants should have had that game put away in the 1st quarter though…

5 Tynes FGs! We gotta punch some of those in for 6 given opportunities with TOs.
