The Giants have agreed to one-year deals with LB Keith Rivers and former Steelers S Ryan Mundy. Rivers, who the Giants acquired from the Bengals for a 5th round pick last year figures to see more action next year with LB Michael Boley released and LB Chase Blackburn on the market as a free agent. Rivers battled some minor injuries last season but started in six games. He provided speed at the position last year, something the Giants lacked with Boley being wearing down and Jaquan Williams missing time last season as well.
In 2012, Mundy played in all 16 games regerstering 24 tackles while starting in three games. He will provide depth incase Kenny Phillips signs elsewhere. Mundy can also help on special teams, too.

Reports of RT David Diehl agreeing to a pay cut are not accurate. While this likely will happen eventually, no deal is in place yet.

I like Mundy over Woodson, but why was KP allowed to bolt for a one year deal elsewhere, they couldn’t give him a second year? Guess we’ll find out.
Rivers probably came cheap so I can live with that move, I hear they’re talking to Maulaga, not sure I wouldn’t just hope to draft a guy instead of bringing him in, then again they probably want to draft another pass rusher.
