LB Dan Connor, WR Louis Murphy Visit Giants

Former Cowboys LB Dan Connor and former Raiders WR Louis Murphy are visiting the Giants today. Both are veterans who could provide quality depth at each respective position.

Murphy, who is a former fourth-round pick out of Florida had  41 catches for 609 yards and two touchdowns in 2o10. Murphy played 16 games for the Panthers last season, starting five. Murphy had 25 grabs for 336 yards and a touchdown last season.

Connor, who played in 14 games for the Cowboys last season had 57 tackles.

    Honestly, I’d rather go with Herzlich than Dan Connor, I think Brinkley or maybe Maualuga would’ve been improvements, but Connor, meh. Murphy would be a nice pickup though, they haven’t offered Hixon or Barden a contract, so with the Cruz situation the only WR’s on roster with any experience appear to be Nicks, Randle and Jernigan, the latter two not having much at all.
