Osi Umenyiora Agrees To Deal With Atlanta

The long and fruitful career of pass rusher Osi Umenyiora with the Giants has come to a close.

One of the best pass rushers in Giants history has agreed to join the Atlanta Falcons according to ProFootballTalk.com.

The site states that Osi could sign the deal as soon as today. Terms for the deal were not immediately available.

If all goes according to play, the move will bring a predictable end to Umenyiora’s contentious 10-year career in East Rutherford.

Umenyiora voiced his dissatisfaction with his contract often over the last few seasons, and while he never ruled out a return to the Giants, he always planned to test the free agent market after the 2012 season.

I bet it is for 3 million or less per year or less than half of what he made last year[7 million].
