Monday Night Preview

Sitting here, waiting for kickoff between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles, I find myself both anxious and excited. Anxious because these two teams both have high expectations for this year and obviously play in the same division as the Giants and excited because again, preaching the obvious, its Monday Night Football people! We also get a first look at two of the Giants division rivals beat each other up for 60 minutes as well as the unveiling of Chip Kelly’s high tempo offense. We get to see just what the Eagles have been up to this summer and better the Redskins get a taste of the offense first then the Giants. Thats not to say the Giants couldn’t handle the Eagles, as was shown at the end of 2012 season, but getting an outsiders look at a brand new team with a brand new coach is a plus in Giants camp. I’m excited to watch this game unfold and see where the two other franchises in the NFC East shake out after week 1.

  1. Good news / bad news.

Bad news is, Eagle offense looks as dangerous as we hoped it wouldn’t… and the defense wasn’t too shabby either.

The good news is, Skins fans quick to anoint their team 2013-14 NFC East champs got a dose of reality. a BIG dose.
