It looks like the Giants will be without RB Brandon Jacobs, RB David Wilson, DT Shaun Rogers, and DB Jayron Hosely on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It also looks like Peyton Hillis and Michael Cox are going to split carries against the Eagles – Tom Coughlin was pretty strategic in the word choice he used at today’s presser.
Q: Do you imagine a similar split between Hillis and Cox?
A: We’ll see about that.Q: Is it more of a hot hand kind of thing?
A: No. There’s some strategy involved.
If you look at the Eagle defense – the linebackers have some trouble getting to the ball and stopping the run. I wouldn’t be suprised if Michael Cox was able to break contain and take the ball to the outside a lot better than he was able to do against Minnesota. And other than Brandon Boykin the Eagles secondary has been problematic for them. PFF has the Eagles collectively at the third worst defense in pass coverage in the league. If the Giants can contain their talented defensive line for a few seconds I look for the Giants to have their way both underneath to Hillis, Cox, and Connor again which will open up the deep opportunities for Cruz, Nicks, and Randle once they establish the short game threats as they did last Monday night.
