Giants Remaining Schedule A Sobering Reminder of Tough Road Ahead

The NY Giants have won 4 games in a row and look to be steadily improving each week in terms of the quality of their play on offense and defense. If you’re looking for a good story filled with improbable victories and adversity overcome – it’s a good time to be routing for the Giants.

Looking ahead, however, the picture isn’t all that rosy starting next week agains the Dallas Cowboys.  Check it out:

After two must-win divisional games, the Giants face a daunting string of 3 games to save their season.  A cross country trip to San Diego, at home against the Seahawks, and then at Detroit.  Ooff. We knew this would be a tough stretch since the schedule came out, but we’re nearing the eventual reality of these 3 games and the feeling I get is pretty darn unsettling.

Impending doom.

It’s a good thing the Giants are taking these games one at a time, because no one in their right mind would say the Giants still have a shot to make the playoffs.
