HOW TO WIN THIS WEEKEND, FOUR QUARTERS OF GOOD OLD GIANT SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL!

My opinion; there are just four games left that will decide the fate of the New York Giants and their season. Everyone who has followed this team would agree that they have not yet put four quarters of tough physical football together. So then, what better time to do it then this Sunday at 1:25 am, Pacific Coast Time at Qualcomm Stadium.

As all 46 players board the jumbo jet for their trip to the West Coast and San Diego, they will all be thinking how they have to play as one team to beat the Chargers!

However, even after the plane lands and the taxies to a stop. – Three teams have to exit that plane!

Offence, Defense and Special teams, to remain in the in playoff hunt.

Go Giants – 27-24.

This game is exceedingly difficult to predict, as both teams are inconsistent from week to week. Giants fans never know which team will show up, and they have had a knack for playing down to the level of competition. The Chargers are much the same… they decimate Luck and his Colts, holding them to 9 points, and also beat the Chiefs, Cowboys, and Eagles, but lose to the Texans and Redskins. Maddening for Chargers fans. So which teams are going to show up today? Who knows. What Giants fans do know is they can’t let Woodhead and Gates run free, because Rivers will find them early and often. With Webster out Rivers will test McBride’s groin injury. The DTs and Tuck must rattle Rivers while stopping the run. Get him in 3rd and long, and that 70% completion rate will drop. On offense, Gilbride needs to get Brown going, especially over the right side behind Dhehl and Pugh where they’ve had the most success. And even if Nicks shows up today so Cruz can have a big day, Gilbride must not go away from the running game in order to minimize Eli’s penchant for turnovers and keep Rivers on the sidelines. This is a winnable game if the Giants don’t get impatient, take what the Chargers give them, and the defense continues to play well behind Tuck, Jenkins, Joseph, Beason, Hill, TT and Prince.

Have the people who think that Perry Fewell should remain as the D coordinator finally realized that he is simply the WORST DC in the NFL?? This defense is worse than Abysmal. Inept, incredibly bad schemes, poor tackling, aweful packages, completely unaware of down and distance/situations,etc. the only two things that are close to being as bad are the Special Teams, who every single week make poor plays, penalties, no blocks, no tackles, etc and the offensive play calling.. EVERY single first play after a turnover this entire year has been a run.. Every single one. First down, pass.. second down run, third down, close play. everyone in the league knows that when Eli Audibles out of the shotgun, its an inside handoff.

to the defense.. can ANY DE ever set an edge? Kiwanuka, JPP, doesnt matter who, the NEVER set an edge. the only reason why the stats are good against the run this year is because its soo easy to pass agaisnt them.. today, down and distance.. 1st and 20, second half for the chargers.. 1st play (the world knows either a draw or screen is coming) and chargers pick up 13 on a draw. Next play, Amukamora gives a 15 yard cushion for an easy 1st down on a comeback.. unreal..

The pass rush sucks, Tuck had a good game last week against a TERRIBLE Redskins team and I dont think they blitzed more than 5 times all game today.. BLINDERS.. this pass rush has sucked all year and yet, they refuse to have a blitz package.. how many times today was it 3rd and 4 and someone goes offside for a first down?? Down and distance awareness?? anyone?

Im done with this team in its current configuration.. sign a couple NFL quality LB’s to play outside of Beason next year. Get rid of the non nfl caliber CB’s.. Draft an offensive lineman or two before the 4th round.. say goodbye to Nicks who has looked disinterested since last year (can you show up to the offseason program at all Nicks?)

LAst fire Fewell… maybe we’ll get lucky and Coughlin will be too exhasuted for another Run…Sign Bill Cowher to be head coach.. get a real defense, play with some spark, and let Eli have control of the offense under COwher…

    aweful!!
