If I where the New York Giants I would not give the Seattle Seahawks any bulletin board material before Sundays game. Let them rest, relax and sleep on their long flight from the Pacific North West and hope that show up at Met Life Stadium yawning and board at game time.
The absolute worst thing a player can do when you’ve just been eliminate from the playoffs is “chirp” when you have no reason to “chirp!” Especially when the team you’re playing is 11-2. And their loss to the 49ers last week was only by two points and they were playing in San Francisco!
Jason Tuck has been playing well this season but he still talks a good game, I understand his comment about “the Seahawks will embarrass you.” but stay humble, stay quite and let your play do the talking and John Beason should do the same. The idea of the Seahawks being a good measuring stick for next year was silly. Play in the here and now.
Look at it this way – the Giants should pretend they are the Champ, Mohammad Ali and they are up against the ropes. Tired, wounded and beaten…that’s when he was the most dangerous.
Book it Dano!
