No Blame Game here!

Seems that there’s no finger pointing on ‘Black Monday’ coming from the New York Giants. The players want Tom Coughlin back and Tom Coughlin says there will be an overall evaluation of the season, players and coaches.

So here is a simple evaluation before the Giant brass gives theirs. The 2011 Super Bowl team was a good team but not a great team, which lead the coaches and management to believe there was more talent to work with then there really was, and that the future was bright while most of the Helmet visors worn by the players over the last two mediocre seasons were rose colored!

So in reality the Super Bowl clock in the locker room was an immense over-reach a publicity stunt – for a team that didn’t have the talent to get to the playoffs much less the Super Bowl. That is why Giant fans will have to make up their own minds as to what happened to their ‘Big Blue’ football team during the 2013 season.

Here are two things to remember about the 2013 Giants…they controlled their own destiny when they took the field with time running out and the Dallas Cowboys 80 yards from a victory at Met Life Stadium and could not stop Tony Romo from icing the game and their playoff hopes. Than the next week they simply never got off the bus – never showed up for a game against the San Diego Chargers. No one has to point fingers at anyone it was very clear that this team didn’t have the fire in their bellies to compete.

Time to move on!

Book it Dano!
