Giants RB Coach Jerald Ingram Has Been Fired

Apparently the recent hiring of offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo has spurred some other changes for the Giants offense – Running Backs Coach Jerald Ingram has reportedly been let go.

I’m surprised this change came, even thought the Giants have had one of the worst rushing attacks in the league this year.  Heck, they even had the worst group in 2011 when they won the Super Bowl but — they found ways to overcome it.  In 2013, the run game only showed signs of life against catastrophically poor run defenses — masking a big issue.

Also with Brandon Jacobs, Peyton Hillis, and DaRel Scott taking snaps behind a horrible OL – is coaching really the problem?  We’ll find out this year when the Giants take the field.
