Could Richard Shermen ever play for the G-Men?

My opinion; Richard Sherman is a loud mouth egotistical nut and one hell of a football player!

Watching him on the last play of the Championship game Sunday was really remarkable considering he had a good Idea where the ball was going! The interception was really a big time play – especially batting it to one of his defensive teammates and sending his team to the Super Bowl. But the rant to the cameras after the play was so over the top that, Erin Andrews had to hand it off to someone else unable to control the star cornerback gone wild.

Fun stuff! Then watching him jump into the stands while taking on a pose of a national hero was worth the experience. You have to respect someone who plays like he does because he apparently calls on himself to be better then anyone else and he probably is. Its called living on the edge!

If Richard Sherman were a free agent would the Giants make a push for him? After all he would be the most dynamic personality on the Giants so how would that bode with Jerry Reese, Steve Tisch and John Mara?

John Mara; I would have to defer to Jerry…

Jerry Reese; I would need to talk to Steve and John…

Steve Tisch; The walls around Met Life Stadium are to high for him to jump into the crowd!

Book it Dano!

Yes, a tall athletic corner with ball skills who is brash and with attitude could certainly play for the Giants or anyone for that matter. You have to tip your hat to the Seahawks front office and scout/talent evaluators. They have proven successful in uncovering mid and late round draft picks that can play and whom their coaching staff can further develop.

I have been wanting to raise the following question on Giants Gab for several months and have been reluctant because I have wondered whether this thought is too ludicrous to even comment on, however, here it is, although I don’t believe it would have a chance of ever happening:

Could Will Hill play corner? I can see like everyone else that he appears to have a promising future at Safety. He appears tough, has some ball skills, and would be a hard-nosed run forcer. What I don’t know is whether he has 4.4 40 speed and the quickness to play corner. However, I look at him and Prince and see a pairing of a potentially physical CB tandem.

I recognize that typically DB’s are placed at Safety as opposed to CB for a reason, big hitters often, lacking a bit of speed and/or quickness to cover WR’s as opposed to TE’s or slot receivers, perhaps more suited to some zone coverage as opposed to man-to-man. Just wondering…

Will Hill…nice pick up but can he a just to being a stand up guy? Lots of people wonder when the next time you turn your computer on and will he be back in trouble again…I sure hope not – he flat out dominated the Lions game…big future if he can mature. I don’t know about Corner why not if Stevie ???? the kid who tore his ACL comes back move him.
    Regards, Go Giants.
