Giants WR Victor Cruz Not Happy About Not Being Involved in the Offense Sunday

Victor Cruz

It was not a good day Sunday in Pittsburgh for Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, who did next to nothing in the teams’ 10-point loss to the Steelers 24-14.

The wide out was none too happy about his lack of passes thrown his way, and talked about it in the New York Daily News.

Cruz’s role on the Giants’ offense was almost completely phased out as he split time with Roger Lewis Jr. and received exactly zero targets in Sunday’s 24-14 loss to the Steelers.

Why wasn’t he involved?

“I have no idea,” Cruz said. “It’s not a question for me to answer.”

Cruz was clearly irked by not having the ball thrown his way at all in the loss. Does he plan to speak to Ben McAdoo or Eli Manning about it?

“I’m going to talk to somebody. Somebody’s got to give me an answer as to why.”

“Absolutely, there’s always opportunities for everybody to get the ball out there and I didn’t get those today,” he said.
