Giants LT Nate Solder Says He’ll Be Ready for Training Camp

Entering his second year with the Giants, Nate Solder spent most of the offseason sidelined by an ankle injury that required arthroscopic surgery.

The well-compensated left tackle doesn’t expect to stay on the sidelines come August, Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com reports.

Solder told The Athletic’s Dan Duggan that his ankle is “progressing really nicely” and he expects to be full-go for New York when training camp kicks off on July 26.

“There’s no reason to think that I won’t be there for training camp,” Solder said Saturday.

The left tackle added that he has moved on to doing less rehab and more football training.

The Giants will no doubt need their LT to have a full tank of gas as the Giants’ OL will be pushed all season.
