Giants Sign Former Chiefs CB Barksdale to Their Practice Squad

Cornerback Rashad Barksdale is going from being waived by the Chiefs to the practice squad of the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Barksdale, released in the Chiefs’ final cutdown, signed with New York on Monday. He played in six games last season for Kansas City and was inactive for the other 10 games.

Giants Release Five Players Including QB Jared Lorenzen

The Giants website today announced the release of five players, including backup quarterback Jared Lorenzen.  He was with the team since the 2004 season. Giants Ink 6th Round Pick Robert Henderson

Today the Giants signed sixth-round DL Robert Henderson to a multi-year deal. Henderson started 33 games at Southern Miss and finished his career with 13.5 sacks. He’ll likely need to show versatility to make the 53-man roster.
