Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell does not deny coaching players to fake injuries

Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell would not verify or reject charges elicited by one of his former players, Rams linebacker Bryan Kehl, that he teaches his defenders to fake injuries according to Mike Mazzeo of ESPNNewYork.com. “I can’t say I’ve ever done that and I can’t say that I haven’t done that,” Fewell said Thursday. Pascoe Promoted From Practice Squad, Kehl Waived

Clipped from: www.nj.com (share this clip) With Kevin Boss uncertain and the only healthy tight end being Travis Beckum, the Giants promoted TE Bear Pascoe from the practice squad, according to Zach Berman of the Star Ledger. To make room for him, the Giants waived linebacker Bryan Kehl. Promoting Pascoe makes sense, since he’s a […]

“I Do Have Some Confidence In Guys On The Roster Who Haven’t Played A Lot.”

The above quote is from GM Jerry Reese, speaking at the pre-draft presser (transcript is not available yet. We’ll pass it along when it is.) In true Reese fashion, he didn’t say much of note. But, the quote above, and a quote I will share a bit later, were a little revealing. The “guys who […]

Bryan Kehl underwent surgery late this afternoon for a fractured left index finger.  Kehl’s status is week to week.  So much for Kehl replacing Boley, enter Chase Blackburn.

Michael Boley Out For 4 Weeks

Another tough injury for the Giants. Linebacker Michael Boley underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee, and is expected to be out for 4 weeks, according to reports. This is a big blow for Big Blue, as Boley was really starting to play well, and excelled in the Kansas City game. Presumably, Bryan Kehl or Chase […]

Boley Out For Few Weeks, Source Says

A source told the Newark Star Ledger’s Mike Garafolo that linebacker Michael Boley will miss a few weeks with a knee injury. This is a huge set back for Boley, who was really starting to come into his own after recovering from a hip injury. Presumably, Bryan Kehl or Chase Blackburn will take his place.
