Giants Sign OT Herb Taylor To Reserve/Futures Contract:

Giants signed OT Herb Taylor to a reserve/future contract.  Taylor was waived by the Broncos just before Week 17. The Giants’ offensive line regressed in 2009, and Taylor could end up as a useful reserve. Taylor, a sixth round pick of the Chiefs, is a 25 year old 6foot 2 inch 295 tackle from TCU […]

Yes, No, Maybe, I Don’t Know…Can You Repeat The Question

The title is the theme song from “Malcom in the Middle” but I found it fitting to the situation with Perry Fewell.   In bad news the Eagles have added Special Teams Guru Bobby April. Via Ralph Vacchiano the Blue Screen Perry Fewell may eventually accept an offer to become the Giants’ next defensive coordinator. […]

Down Goes Crennel:

It’s official.  According to Adam Caplan of Scout.com the Chiefs and Crennel have struck a deal that will make Crennel the team’s new defensive coordinator.  Down goes another Giants option.

Crennel To Chiefs:

In Kansas City, Crennel and Weis rejoin former Pats V.P. of player personnel Scott Pioli, […]

Weiss to become KC OC

According to many sources, Charlie Weiss has agreed to become the next offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs. Man, this is a bummer. Weiss was my favorite candidate to take the job of OC if Kevin Gilbride left. Well I guess the search has to continue unless Kevin Gilbride stays.

Crennel Wants The Job?

In November I wrote this post half kidding half serious.  Now comes news from Mike Garafolo that Romeo Crennel is interested in the Giants Defensive Coordinator position. Crennel’s agent told Garafolo his client would be interested in the Giants’ gig. Again, so are a bunch of other people. But Crennel does have quite a bunch of […]

Giants Sign London Fryar

The Giants made a minor move today, placing DB Vince Anderson on the practice squad/injured list, and signing DB London Fryar to replace him on the practice squad. Fryar is the son of Irving Fryar, and spent time in camp with the Chiefs.

Reese: Manning is Not 100%

Tom Rock, of Newsday, had a chance to sit down with GM Jerry Reese. Among the topics discussed were the health of Eli’s foot. Here’s the portion of the article dealing with that: “I don’t think there’s any question that the injury has affected him,” Reese said. “I think it has affected his rhythm some. […]
