Wilkinson Receives 3rd Round Tender

According to Ralph Vacchiano, linebacker Gerris Wilkinson will receive a 3rd round tender from the Giants, as a restricted free agent. Should another team sign him to an offer sheet, the Giants will have 7 days to match the offer. If not, they will receive a 3rd round pick.

Wilkinson Out 6-8 Weeks

Linebacker Gerris Wilkinson is out 6-8 weeks, after surgery to repair a dislocated wrist. Wilkinson, who primarily plays special teams, will most likely be placed on IR.
