Osi Umenyiora has recently been in the news for threatening to “retire” if he doesn’t get his starting job back, quit, seek a trade and many other things. Things have died down,  as Umenyiora had agreed to fight to win his starting job back. Things just got a little bit tougher. Umenyiora has been told [...]

Well, here’s the first denial. Jerry Reese says the Giants are NOT trading Osi Umenyiora:
We’re not trading Osi. You don’t have to ask that question

According to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, the Giants are getting calls on defensive end Osi Umenyiora. We’ve debated this ad nauseum. Here’s what a source told Paolantonio:
“Teams are calling the Giants, feeling them out,” said a league source with knowledge of the Giants’ thinking. “But right now, they’re sitting tight.”
Paolantonio says the interested teams are St. [...]

According to the National Football Post, if the Giants draft DE Jason Pierre-Paul in the first round, then the Giants will listen to trade offers for Osi Umenyiora, and will make a deal if the price is right:

Steve Serby of the New York Post wants Julius Peppers in blue.

t doesn’t take much to [...]

We may as well be called “OsiGab”, because that’s the main topic dominating the site. And today, more news. According to Mike Garafolo, Osi wants a decision on his future with the team by March.

I haven’t talked to anybody so I don’t know what the situation is, I don’t know what’s going to happen, but [...]

I can’t remember where I saw this, so if you are the person who thought of it, I’m sorry I didn’t give you credit.
But, the gist of the proposed deal was this: Osi Umenyiora for Kerry Rhodes?
It fits a need for both teams. The Jets need a pass rusher. The Giants need a safety. Both [...]

We continue to Rank The Giants, and today, we Rank the Defensive Line. For years, the defensive line has been the staple of the Giants. But, for whatever reason, this year was different. Injuries played a role, for sure, but the lack of a consistent pass rush hurt the Giants.

Tuck played most of the [...]
