Giants Titans Halftime Thoughts

The Giants should be up big, but mistakes and penalties have killed them, as the Titans and Giants are tied 10-10 . The GIants have been strong on D, and have moved the ball well on offense, but they haven’t be able to capitalize. Sloppy half

Giants offense looks completely different than last week. Moving the ball. Eli has had time. But two picks, one in the end zone, and penalties galore have just made things impossible. Even though the last drive was good, they should have been up much bigger. Cut down the penalites and mistakes, and things would be different.

Defense loks good too. Chris Johnson has been mostly quite. VY has been pressured. Penalities have hurt them. The first TD was a direct result of the pass interference on Terrell Thomas. We saw some good performances, from Jason Pierre-Paul, Justin Tuck, Kenny Phillips. They look good. But, to win, need to stop the mistakes.

I think the Giants can win this game. They are dominating on both sides of the ball. But they have to cut down on mistakes. No more penalties, no more picks. They fought back on the last drive, and that touchdown was huge.  Can they do it? Sure. But they have to start now. Any more mistakes can cost the game.

    Penalties are killing them

I was a big fan of an 18 game season but there is no way I could watch this team play for 18 games right now! This is ridiculous!

    – Lack of discipline/ composure is alarming.

    – why can’t Aaron Ross make a play? Guaranteed catch every time his man is thrown to.

    – Osi needs to make an impact. Taking too wide of an angle and running himself out of position.

    – How could we have gone into this season with such a poor kicking game?

    – I think the Coughlin death watch starts as soon as this game ends.

    I am nauseous right now!

Bye bye Tom Coughlin. You’ve lost complete control of this team. Bill Cowher PLEASE come to NY.

    • CMH says:

The leadership structure of this team is broken.Caughlin can’t get it back and he looks like he knows it. He should do the noble thing and resign.

Cowher is the obvious choice but would also like to see Gruden get some consideration.
