Source: Umenyiora “out a while” with ankle injury

UPDATE: Umenyiora to be sidelined two-to-four weeks, according to a source.

Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora is going to be “out a while” with his ankle injury, according to a source.

Umenyiora suffered a sprained ankle in the first half and did not return in the 49-24 loss to New Orleans.

LB help: A source also confirmed a Newark Star Ledger report that the Giants likely will sign veteran linebacker and former special teams captain Chase Blackburn with Michael Boley having missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury.

Yes Chase will make all the difference and make this defense into a top rated one again….Come on please…get real.

This team is just about done. Too many injuries and backups not prepared to play because they never get snaps. That’s what Gogolphing does every season.
