Giants Work Out A Ton of Players

A little known fact is that every year the Giants lead the league in workouts of potential players — and Tuesday’s workout list is a good indication why. TWENTY players worked out for the GMEN yesterday. 2 – 0.

via The National Football Post:

The New York Giants tried out 20 players, including former New York Jets running back Miguel Maysonet, according to a league source. They also tried out running backs Cam White, Keiland Williams, Kendall Gaskins, wide receivers Preston Parker, Danny Coale and Reggie Dunn, defensive end Kendrick Adams, quarterbacks Jerrod Johnson and B.J. Coleman, tight ends Colin Anderson and Bryce Davis, center Kevin Kowalski, kickers Brandon McManus and Patrick Murray, offensive guard Eric Olsen, offensive tackle Willie Smith, defensive back Trevin Wade, linebacker Lawrence Wilson and punter Brad Wing.

Miguel Maysonet is a local NY guy, we know Jerry Reese and Tom Coughlin love to bring these kinds of guys in and hope they stick around. Keiland Williams, the former RB for the Washington Redskins is another guy that jumps out at you.

TE Colin Anderson is a former Viking and small school prospect that really impressed scouts and coaches alike in 2012. He was selected First Team Preseason All-Southern Conference football for the 2012 college football season by the league’s head coaches, and FCS First Team All-American for the 2012 college football season by The Sports Network according to

Kevin Kowalski is a former Dallas Cowboy, not sure there’s anything to that one as Jim Cordle has shown progress in place of David Baas. Still, it’s good to kick the tires on anyone that might be able to help, which is what this list of 20 shows. Due diligence, little more.

Miguel Maysonet is a fellow alum of Stony Brook University. I was in the class of 2004. I’ve never met the man but I’m always pulling for him.

I hope he gets picked up by the G-Men, that would be sweet to see. If he can resemble just a bit of Ahmad Bradshaw, he would be a HOMERUN for the Tri-State area.
