In Reese, We Trust? Really? Why?

In Reese, We Trust? Really? Why? By Martin Alvin Nobody likes admitting they’re wrong; and since I qualify as nobody –- just ask my ex-wife — I admit to disliking it, too. But the fact is, over the last decade, I’ve been wrong about a lot of things regarding Big Blue: I was wrong about […]

Hey, NBC–Flex This!

Hey, NBC — Flex This! By Martin Alvin By now, as everyone knows, NBC has decided to exercise their ‘flex’ option by dropping the Giants-Packers game, scheduled for this coming Sunday Night, and they’re replacing it with the Kansas City Chiefs-Denver Broncos game. And the reaction of many Giants fans is a very sincere and […]

Yes, No, Maybe, I Don’t Know…Can You Repeat The Question

The title is the theme song from “Malcom in the Middle” but I found it fitting to the situation with Perry Fewell.   In bad news the Eagles have added Special Teams Guru Bobby April. Via Ralph Vacchiano the Blue Screen Perry Fewell may eventually accept an offer to become the Giants’ next defensive coordinator. […]

Weiss to become KC OC

According to many sources, Charlie Weiss has agreed to become the next offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs. Man, this is a bummer. Weiss was my favorite candidate to take the job of OC if Kevin Gilbride left. Well I guess the search has to continue unless Kevin Gilbride stays.

Manning Back To Practice:

From ESPN.COM: Eli Manning returned to practice Friday and showed no ill effects of the injured right foot that kept him out of practice for two days. Manning did the regular exercises with the team Friday, and at one point was leading sprints. He has been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis — an inflammation, near the […]

Giants Roundtable Week 4: Kansas City Chiefs

Welcome to another edition of Giants Roundtable. I’m Jesse Bartolis and I’ll be hosting today. I have here with me, Andrew Ilnicki, Mark Picucci, and Jeremy Fuchs.  We’re hoping that this Roundtable is a jump off point for anything Giants related that you wish to discuss so after you read the best game re-cap and […]

Ruegamer Cut By Seahawks:

Grey Ruegamer is healthy, and now he’s no longer a Seahawk. Seattle waived Ruegamer this afternoon and picked up offensive lineman Brian De La Puente from the Kansas City Chiefs.  With the shaky perfomances from the reserve linemen should the Giants sign Ruegamer? It might be a good idea to snatch him up.  He can […]

Chiefs Cut Amani Toomer:

The Kansas City Chiefs have released Amani Toomer, ending the veteran receiver’s short-lived stint with the team. Toomer signed with Kansas City on Aug. 4 after spending his first 13 seasons with the Giants. He never made much of an impact, spending most of the preseason working with the second and third teams.

Toomer Is A Kansas City Chief:

From Ralph Vacchiano Former Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer has finally found a new home. The 34-year-old owner of many of the Giants’ receiving records signed today with the Kansas City Chiefs. That means he’ll get a shot at his old teammates in Week 4, when the Giants visit Kansas City on Oct. 4. Toomer […]

Tynes Re-Ups With Giants

Perhaps it was the winning field goal against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game, but in any case, New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes will be able to cash in.  According to the New York Daily News, Tynes signed a 5-year, $7 million contract to remain with the Giants – […]
